Honda Civic/Volvo XC90榮獲2016 North American Car and Truck of the year獎項殊榮

【楊智漢/報導】隨著2016北美車展的正式揭幕，在車展中舉辦的2016 North American Car and Truck of the year獎項得主也隨之出爐，在一般轎車組別是由10代Honda Civic所奪得，而卡車組別則由全新的Volvo XC90所榮獲。

2016年North American Car and Truck of the year的獎項競爭與往常一樣激烈，每一部入圍複賽的車款皆是一時之選，也讓評審們傷盡腦筋在這些表現優異的車款中進行評選。而最後全新世代的Honda Civic以最高得分擊敗了Mazda MX-5 與 Chevrolet Malibu這兩部勁敵，這也是繼10年前8代Civic榮獲2006 North American Car of the Year獎項之後再度獲得此殊榮。另外，卡車組獎項是由採全新SPA平台設計的新世代Volvo XC90所榮獲，其同樣擊敗了Honda Pilot及Nissan Titan XD這兩部強勢對手才脫穎而出。而去年2015 North American Car and Truck of the year的獎項得主分別是VW Golf與Ford F-150。
